About Thakeham

This charming village is in the south of Horsham District, just north of the larger town of Storrington. A walk through the village will take you to a number of listed buildings and the historic St Mary's church, the oldest part of which dates from the mid-12th century. The village also has strong links with William Penn, prominent early Quaker and founder of Pennsylvania.
