St Mary's Church Sullington

St Marys church Sullington

A charming little church in the South Downs countryside, St Mary's dates back to the Saxon era, around 1050. The tower and the navy were altered in the Norman era and the 12th and 13th centuries. There is a beautiful yew tree in the churchyard that dates from the 9th century.

The church is next to Sullington Manor Farm, which has a series of self-catering cottages and a wedding venue. Stop off at its cafe, The Cafe at the Old Workshop, after your visit to the church.
