All Saints Church Buncton

All Saints Church Buncton

Built between 1000 and 1200, the church is composed mainly of flint and rubble masonry with tile fragments from the earlier Roman building that existed nearby. Originally All Saints was a Chapel of Ease, an extra church in a parish built for those who cannot reach the parish church (St. Mary’s Wiston), but in 2007 the status of the two was reversed with All Saints becoming the Parish Church.
