Description
This fascinating church was built around 1125. Several of the original windows and two original walls, a twelfth century Aumbry (a cabinet in the wall to store chalices and other vessels) and the unique fifteenth century tower remain. In 1865 a major extension of the church was carried out and during this work a Norman altar stone was discovered and restored to the altar where it is still in use today.
The church has information folders covering the building's history and the local wildlife, flora and fauna.
