Things to do in February Half Term

Warnham Discovery Trail

February half-term is just around the corner, so we've put together four Horsham District days out for you over the holiday break!

Unfortunately the Rotary Charity Pancake Races have been postponed until further notice. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

On Monday morning head to Henfield Library for their ‘roarsome’ Dinosaur Roar session with stories and crafts. Henfield museum is open 10-12 so you could squeeze in half an hour there after the library. Count the cats at the famous Cat House, and if you’ve still got energy join the Downs Link near the Cat and Canary pub for a run around.

On Wednesday Warnham Local Nature Reserve will be hosting a Winter Wildlife Children’s Fun Day with activities out on the reserve and in the visitor centre.

Horsham Museum is hosting several entertaining half-term workshops for kids, including Lego challenges, musical fun, creative printing and the chance to try the latest tech toys! Also on at the museum is a fascinating exhibit about the building itself, Causeway House and it’s rich 600 year history on how it became the tourist destination it is today.

Walk the Pulborough Wild Art Trail and immerse yourself in beautiful scenery, local history, wildlife trivia and more. Got a phone or tablet with you? Download the app and let the friendly Pulborough Giant guide you on the trail, perfect for a family outing and a picturesque picnic stop by the River Arun. If you’ve still got time, you could explore part of the RSPB Pulborough Brooks, one of the richest nature areas in the country.
