With gift shops and many of our small independent businesses set to re-open from December 3 and Christmas just around the corner, we share some ways you can support local businesses and enjoy our town centres this month.

Vote for the best hot chocolate in Horsham District

The hunt is on for the most delicious hot chocolate in Horsham District. Upload your hot chocolate photos tagged #championhotchoc to the Horsham Time Well Spent Facebook page or on Instagram before Wednesday 16 December.

From Friday 18 December you can then tell us which is your favourite - one person commenting will win a fabulous Hot Chocolate Hamper from local chocolatiers Cocoa Loco and the opportunity for them to come and make chocolates with you!

Take a tour of Window Wonderland windows

Many local businesses across Horsham District are taking part in Window Wonderland, our competition to find the best Christmas window in Horsham District.

What is the favourite Christmas window display in your town?

Upload your photos of wonderful Christmas windows from shops and businesses across Horsham District tagged #hdwinterwonderland to the Horsham Time Well Spent Facebook page or on Instagram before Wednesday 16 December.

From Friday 18 December you can then tell us which is your favourite - one person commenting will win tickets for a family of four to a show in the New Year at Horsham’s Capitol theatre. You'll have until 24 December to comment and we'll announce the winner in early January.

Visit Horsham Christmas Market

Horsham Markets will be running socially distanced COVID-safe Christmas markets every weekend in December. Look out for gifts, homeware, clothing, jewellery, local produce, seasonal treats and winter warmers.
